A Customer Service Nightmare: 8 Days Late & Ghosted By Support 👻
I'm writing this as a warning about my truly terrible online shopping experience. I was promised a quick turnaround, which is the only reason I chose this company, but what I got was a masterclass in frustration and neglect. This whole ordeal left me feeling completely helpless, and I had to put my feelings into words. My conclusion is this: I ordered a set of prescription glasses and was advised the order would ship in 3 business days. 8 business days later they still haven’t shipped and it’s impossible to reach a live person. Their virtual chat gives the option after you track your order enough times to speak to a live chat representative but then circles you back to virtual chat. They also say on their site that you can reach someone by phone 7am-midnight however unless you’re placing an order, you will not get to speak to someone. I’ve never experienced customer service like this. To be completely inaccessible as it relates to a prescription is absurd. I would advise not doing business with this company. This unacceptable situation is why I finally managed to get into a live chat, determined to speak to a human.
Customer: My order was supposed to ship 8 days ago. Your site promised 3 business days. I've been stuck in your virtual chat loop for an hour. Is anyone actually working here?
CS Rep: I am so sorry for the delay and the trouble you've had reaching us. That is definitely not the experience we want for our customers. Can I please have your order number to check its status?
Customer: It's #54321. I need my glasses. Being completely unreachable when you're dealing with a medical prescription is absurd. I want to know exactly where my order is and why I was lied to about the shipping time.
CS Rep: I understand your frustration completely. I see your order and there has been an unexpected production delay. I sincerely apologize. I have escalated your order to high priority and can confirm it will ship within 24 hours. I have also refunded your shipping fees.
Customer: Refunding the shipping is the bare minimum. I'll believe it when I see the tracking number. This has been a ridiculously unprofessional experience.

The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap.
